B.S.C. Naveen Kumar is a dedicated professional with over two decades of experience in the field of Environment and Sustainability. Throughout his career, he has demonstrated a strong commitment to promoting environmental conservation and youth empowerment initiatives. Naveen's journey began with roles in education and language training, where he honed his skills in communication and community engagement. Over time, he transitioned into more specialized roles, focusing on environmental sustainability and social responsibility.
Currently serving at the Mahatma Gandhi National Council of Rural Education, Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education in the Government of India, Naveen plays a pivotal role in driving various programs aimed at fostering sustainable development. As the Regional Coordinator for the Unnat Bharat Abhiyan, he has been instrumental in implementing innovative environmental initiatives and addressing challenges faced by Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) across the nation. His work extends to collaborating closely with HEIs in Telangana, where he has worked extensively in 11 districts, facilitating action research projects and faculty development programs.
One of Naveen's notable contributions is his work in mentoring institutional social responsibility and sustainability through student self-help groups. He has worked across 24 districts in India, actively engaging in the implementation of sustainable practices and conducting workshops to raise awareness. Additionally, Naveen has been involved in organizing World Environment Day celebrations and other national and internal environmental activities, contributing significantly to environmental awareness and conservation efforts.
Naveen's expertise also encompasses designing and implementing Swachhta Action Plans for Higher Education Institutions, covering various aspects of environmental sustainability. He has conducted training programs and workshops for faculty members and college principals, focusing on environmental best practices and sustainability measures. Furthermore, his involvement in social entrepreneurship workshops and the establishment of student self-help groups demonstrates his commitment to fostering sustainable development at the grassroots level.
With a diverse academic background in Microbiology and English Language training, Naveen brings a unique blend of technical expertise and communication skills to his work.
