Dr. Raakhi Gupta is a highly accomplished Professor, Rector, and Registrar at IIS (deemed to be University) in Jaipur, India, with an academic career spanning over 29 years. Known for her dynamic leadership in education administration, she plays a pivotal role in academic and administrative policy planning, aligning the university’s goals with the national framework and ensuring its growth through quality assurance and innovation. Her active involvement extends to being an ex-officio member of various statutory bodies and serving as the university’s nodal officer for NEP implementation.
Holding a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry, Dr. Gupta’s expertise centers on synthetic organic and computational chemistry. Her research group has developed a diverse library of bioactive compounds and advanced new organic dyes and donor-acceptor complexes, positioning them as potential semiconducting materials. Dr. Gupta’s passion for theoretical studies is demonstrated through her extensive work with GAUSSIAN software, enabling the incorporation of computational chemistry into the university’s postgraduate curriculum.
Dr. Gupta has published several influential research papers, many of which bridge experimental and theoretical chemistry.
