Layla Al-Masri

With more than eight years of experience, Layla Al-Masri is a committed PYP English teacher at Jordan's Modern Montessori School. She received her American high school diploma, O-levels, SAT courses, and SAT II subjects at Abu Dhabi International School after being born and raised in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates. Layla graduated with a bachelor's degree in English literature from Jordan's Al Ahliyya Amman University.
Outside of her work as a teacher, Layla is a multifaceted person who pursues a variety of artistic endeavors. Layla has a passion for writing that goes beyond developing curricula and teaching. She has competed in writing contests and won the Chicago Amateur Poets’ Silver Prize in 2000.
Layla Al-Masri has held a variety of positions in her career, demonstrating her aptitude in journalism, media, and advertising. She has experience managing web material, including producing, developing, and administering it, having worked as a content manager at Rahala Media Production. She has also held teaching positions, including her present one at Modern Montessori School and her previous one as an English teacher at Kids Land Academy.
Layla's commitment to staying current with developments in education and her pursuit of professional and personal development are testaments to her commitment to her craft. Laya has a strong enthusiasm for journalism, media, advertising, and writing. She wants to work for a company where she can use her diverse skill set to benefit the company she works for.
Layla's success as an English teacher at Modern Montessori School in Jordan can be attributed to her dedication to staying up to date on contemporary educational issues throughout her career. In addition to introducing kids to a variety of subjects through engaging activities, her teaching responsibilities included lesson design, assessment, and assignment, as well as upholding a supportive learning atmosphere.
