Fowziya Ahamed is a passionate and experienced teacher with a robust background in developing and implementing diverse curriculums across various subjects, including Mathematics, English, Science, Social Studies, Hindi, and Urdu. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from Madras University, India, and is currently pursuing her Master’s in Mathematics from Osmania University. Fowziya's teaching career is marked by her ability to motivate students through positive reinforcement and interactive classroom instruction, fostering strong literacy, numeracy, and learning skills among her pupils.
Currently serving as a Homeroom Teacher at Justice Basheer Ahmed Syeed School in India since 2023, Fowziya has previously taught at Future Generation International School in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, from 2020 to 2023. In these roles, she has demonstrated her expertise in managing classrooms, planning and implementing integrated lessons that meet international standards, and providing individualized instruction to students needing extra help. Her commitment to student development is evident through her regular feedback to parents and guardians, and her ability to keep students on task using proactive behavior modification and positive reinforcement strategies.
In addition to her teaching roles, Fowziya has also worked as a private tutor, providing one-on-one or small group instruction to students of all ages. She has developed and implemented individualized lesson plans and tracked student progress, earning multiple awards for "Teacher of the Month." Her ability to deeply understand and support the physical, mental, and social development of children has been a cornerstone of her teaching philosophy, ensuring that each student's unique needs are met effectively.
Fluent in English, Hindi, and Urdu, with a basic understanding of Arabic, Fowziya also brings strong organizational and leadership skills to her roles. She has conducted various inter-college, inter-school, and inter-departmental events, as well as competitions and programs within her schools. Elected as the department head girl at her university, she has demonstrated effective communication, critical thinking, and time management skills throughout her career. Certified by the GSAAA as an International Teacher since 2018, Fowziya continues to make significant contributions to the educational community with her dedication and expertise.
